Apache Canada Ltd. has recently drilled numerous new horizontal and vertical wells along this trend.  Vertical depths to test the reef would be in the order of 2450 meters.

In March 2006, the EUB approved Lario's application for a down-spacing holding to allow 2 wells per quarter section, and a 100 meter buffer from the neighboring units.  These units have water flood support.
